A Tree Preservation Order can apply to individual trees, groups, areas or woodlands. Conservation-area trees have similar protections, so it is important to establish the relevant status before work is carried out.

Advice and local authority liaison

Talking Elm can liaise with the relevant local authority about appropriate arboricultural works and advise on applications for proposed maintenance or safety work.

A clear application process

Where required, Talking Elm can prepare a report describing the proposed work and submit the application to the local authority on a client’s behalf.
